I was contacted to help do a redesign of a single-bedroom garage apartment in Moundridge, KS. This was a virtual design, so I do not have finished images from the client.

For this apartment design I really wanted to create something peaceful and relaxing, so I decided to go with a botanical/garden theme. I chose a variety of neutral colors and added a blushed/mauve pink as an accent. I absolutely loved the way this design ended up coming together, the pinks, greens and neutrals really blended well. My client loved this design!

In the bedroom I wanted to make it a bit darker and moodier, but still in the garden theme. I chose a darker green color for the walls and a fun accent wall in a leafy green wallpaper. I wanted to stay rather light for the furniture which is why I chose a cream tufted cloth bedframe with bamboo accents. The side table was a perfect matching peice with a round shape to match the curved edges on the bedframe. It was the perfect mix of relaxing and moody.

Next, the bathroom! I really wanted to add an accent, so I decided to pull more from the navy colors in the wallpaper. Rather than carry the green across every room, I thought this added a great accent color and gave the apartment more of a garden feeling, rather than just green everything. The champaign bronze hardware compliments the navy and white colors so beautifully; and the wallpaper adds a much needed pop of color. This truy is one of my favorite bathroom designs!
